Dog found dead in the hands of groomer
A local owner and pet lover was devastated after hearing that her 3-pound Yorkie hung itself on a leach after the groomer left it alone to soak inside a bath tub. Apparently, the dog leaped outside and the leash that was meant to keep it inside and keep it steady was the one to actually take the life away from him.
The grooming business will help cover the expenses of replacing the dog and also to cremate the puppy.
The assistant groomer left the dog alone for a few minutes and when she came back, the dog was hanging. She gave him CPR but it was just a little too late. The assistant was scarred for life. She is actually seeing a therapist right now. According to the business owner, firing her assistant would not accomplish anything. It was an accident that resulted from negligence but then, the woman also needs a lot of help.
The dog was supposedly being trained to be one of the therapist dogs. It was a big loss.
