Bathing a toy dog
I love playing with my dog. People basically call a playful dog - a toy dog. I have one, a shih-tzu. I call her Jessie. She plays around most of the time and kept on jumping and licking people’s faces. It was in her nature as a toy dog I guess. Problem is, I can’t seem to give her a proper bath. Giving her a bath is somewhat frustrating since she has like 110% of energy all the time. But then, I finally got the hang of it.
I don’t know if it would work on other toy dogs but Jessie loves it when I scratch her tummy. When I do this, she pauses and let’s me handle her and give her a proper bath. It was a pretty trick if I may say because technically, she loves it when I give her a bath.
Now that I found her spot, I can give her a good bath. When giving your dog a bath, make it a point that you DO NOT give her a human shampoo. Apply a dog shampoo and use dog soap. The things that we use are not designed for their skin which may cause a lot of irritations on their part.
